So it’s another 4 day weekend here in the UK which means plenty of opportunities to party hard, recover and do it all again. Anyway here’s where you’ll find me this weekend should you, for some inexplicable reason, want to stand near me.

This Friday Modular’s Bag Raiders make their live UK debut at XOYO, this follows the release of their wonderful debut self titled album. Debut’s all round then.

It’s a great looking party as the Australian duo will be joined by Slutty Fringe faves In Flagranti, Stopmakingme, Riton and loads more (including my colleague Em who has smuggled himself onto the bill), get in, as they say.

Having sweated the booze out of my system i’ll then be packing up some vinyl and heading North on Sunday to Islington and The Old Queen’s Head, where I’ll be drunkenly fumbling at the controls (7-8) alongside the likes of Riva Starr, Psychemagick, Stripes and fellow blog types Pelski.

Magic. It starts at 3 and goes on till 3, last man standing wins a prize*, probably a new liver or something i hope.
